This photo album was donated to The Atlas Group in 2003. It documents a wicked experiment undertaken in 1981 by an extreme right-wing militia. The group laced 208 household staples with an unknown substance and placed the tampered goods in the shops of its enemies' neighborhoods. This resulted in a range of afflictions — some victims were seized by endless hiccups, uncontrollable yawning, chattering teeth, or trembling that would not cease. Between 1981 and 1983, it claimed the lives of 6 infants, 2 adolescents, and 11 adults, and left 157 people hospitalized.
